Ugandan Golden Boy Kakooza Joins Anderlect from Police FC.

Belgian giants Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht have agreed with Uganda Premier League side, Police FC for striker Derrick Kakooza.
The striker put pen to paper on a five-year deal however the money involved isn't yet known. Kakooza was the top scorer at the U21 African Cup tournament held in Mauritania this year with 5 goals in 6 games helping his country reach the finals where they lost to Ghana. Star Ghana player and player of the tournament Fatawu Issahaku has also reportedly joined Liverpool FC.
In April agent Geoffrey Kayemba Ssolo confirmed that his client and Police FC striker Derrick Kakooza was the hottest cake in the transfer market.
Ssolo, who works under Somewhere in Africa Sports Agency, says that a number of clubs across the globe have contacted him seeking Kakooza’s services. He said from North African clubs such as Esperance, Al Ahly, and Zamalek were interested.
At Anderlecht, Kakooza is likely to join the Under 21 team managed by Wales and Liverpool FC legend Braig Bellamy before transitioning to the first team.
Kakooza started his footballing journey with Police Armless Brigade, the Junior team for Police FC before getting promoted to the senior team last season.
