FIFA reveal Qatar 2022 World Cup schedule

Its still more than a year to the next FIFA world cup tournament, but in 2022 Qatar will host the first tournament of this nature in the middle east region. Qatar won the bid to host this tournament 10 years ago in South Africa which was also hosting the continent's first edition then. Qatar win was however mired in controversy since. One of them are the hot summers, with the average high in June, July and August hitting a sweltering 42°C.
The 2022 World Cup will be the first ever to not take place in June and July, it will begin on November 21 and be more compressed than normal, finishing less than a month later on December 18
The group games will be played over a 12-day period, with matches not being assigned to particular venues until after the finals draw in March 2022.
The tournament's opening match will be played at the 60,000-seater Al Bayt stadium in Al Khor on Monday, 21 November in a game which will feature hosts Qatar. The final venue is the 80,000-capacity Lusail Stadium in Doha on Sunday, 18 December at 15:00 GMT.

Khalifa International Stadium

Ras Abu Aboud Stadium
