Mustafa Kizza joins Thierry Henry’s Montreal Impact from KCCA FC

Former Arsenal footballer and now Canada's Montreal Impact coach has signed KCCA FC left-back Mustafa Kizza. He joins the Major League Soccer (MLS) club on a deal that will see him stay at the Canadian club for the next two seasons, the club has announced.
The development puts an end to all speculation that was linking the youngster to the different clubs around Africa and Europe.
Kizza was earlier linked with a move to Spanish side Real Valladolid were he even did trials but no success was achieved. Another giant club on the African continent that has been targetting him was Moroccan club Hassania Agadi others are FC Lausanne (Switzerland), Czech republic’s MFV Vyskov, Azam FC (Tanzania) and Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC. Kizza will remain at KCCA FC on loan until December 2020 due to the measures that prohibit air travel out of Uganda. Montreal keeps the option to call him back if the situation improves. Kizza will be joining former Tottenham midfielder and Kenya's star Victor Wanyama at the Saputo Stadium. African legend Didier Drogba has also played at the Montreal club.

Kizza joined KCCA FC in 2017 alongside Allan Okello who is now playing for Algerian side, Paradou AC.
The soft-spoken Kizza played 19 games in the StarTimes UPL and scored five goals and with twelve assists, plus, nine CAF Champions League games with his club in 2019 and 2020, recording four goals and four assists.
